Such a wonderful suprise

In February My husband had planned a 4 day weekend. It started today,I had no idea where we were going. I only knew it was still in Ohio and about an hour and 45 minutes away from our home.

We arrived at 2:30 today. It is a place called Glenlaurel Inn. it is in the Hocking Hills region. He booked us into a "croft" which means small house in gaelic. It is a Scottish inn where we have our meals in the Glasgow Manor house.
In the manor house is also the Loch Ness Pub & Piper's cove.

Our croft has a inclosed deck that looks out and over the gorge. There is a nice hot tub out there too.

In the living room is a nice gas fireplace that you can see from the bedroom too. When we arrived there were roses on the small dining table and decadent chocolate truffles in a small kilned saucer (that I get to keep). They also had a gift by the bed and it was a nice kilned wall hanging with GlenLaurel and the year handpainted on it.

I am so excited, this is for our 30th anniversary which was in Aug. but we like to getaway in the fall. He has booked it for next year and is planning on making this our annual anniversary mini vacation.

He has the whole weekend planned and I won't know what we are doing until we get to the area.
